The Oil Region Astronomical Society offers hands-on workshops throughout the year at the Oil Region Astronomy Learning Center (ORALC). Topics range from beginner astronomy and telescope operation to astrophotography, image processing, and night-sky observation techniques. Each session is designed to be interactive and practical, giving participants a chance to learn directly from experienced ORAS members and guest instructors. Workshops are open to the public, and many are suitable for students and families.
